SV	Zijn niet Abana en Farpar, de rivieren van Damaskus, beter dan alle wateren van Israel; zou ik mij in die niet kunnen wassen en rein worden? Zo wendde hij zich, en toog weg met grimmigheid.
WLC	הֲלֹ֡א טֹוב֩ [אֲבָנָה כ] (אֲמָנָ֨ה ק) וּפַרְפַּ֜ר נַהֲרֹ֣ות דַּמֶּ֗שֶׂק מִכֹּל֙ מֵימֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל הֲלֹֽא־אֶרְחַ֥ץ בָּהֶ֖ם וְטָהָ֑רְתִּי וַיִּ֖פֶן וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ בְּחֵמָֽה׃
Trans.	hălō’ ṭwōḇ ’ăḇānâ ’ămānâ ûfarəpar nahărwōṯ dammeśeq mikōl mêmê yiśərā’ēl hălō’-’erəḥaṣ bâem wəṭâārətî wayyifen wayyēleḵə bəḥēmâ:

AC	יב הלא טוב אבנה (אמנה) ופרפר נהרות דמשק מכל מימי ישראל--הלא ארחץ בהם וטהרתי ויפן וילך בחמה
ASV	Are not Abanah and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage.
BE	Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not be washed in them and become clean? So turning, he went away in wrath.
